Senior Execution & Middle Office Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Execution & Middle Office professional to support our growing hedge fund, specializing in volatility strategies. This role sits at the intersection of trading, operations, and risk, ensuring seamless execution, trade capture, and oversight of the trade lifecycle process.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in derivatives and listed products, proven experience in execution workflows, and deep knowledge of middle office processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence while supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution workflows across equities, options, futures, and other macro asset class derivatives (otc and listed fx, rates, credit).
  • Oversee trade capture, allocation, and confirmation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Liaise with senior investment team,  prime brokers, and clearing firms to resolve trade and settlement issues.
  • Support real-time PnL and risk monitoring by ensuring data integrity between front office and middle office systems.
  • Improve automation, efficiency, and controls across execution and operations.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports for investment, risk, and operations teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for new product onboarding and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7–12 years of experience in execution support, middle office, or trade operations at a hedge fund, or asset manager.
  • Deep understanding of derivatives and volatility products, including options, futures, and related instruments.
  • Proven track record in execution oversight, trade lifecycle management, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with order management and execution management systems (OMS/EMS), ideally Enfusion.
  • Strong technical proficiency (Excel, SQL; Python).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to interface effectively with traders, PMs, and external counterparties.
