Shaun Martinak is a Research / Portfolio Manager at Coinbase Asset Management. He serves as product lead for Onebridge, a platform focused on issuing native digital debt, and provides deal support and credit analysis for Coinbase Asset Management’s Illiquid Strategies. Prior to joining Coinbase Asset Management, Shaun was a managing director at BCI, where he founded a $1B portfolio and built a team focused on opportunistic credit and event-driven strategies. Prior to BCI, Shaun ran a $3B alternatives portfolio at OTPP specializing in systematic, long-short, and event-driven strategies across all asset classes. He began his career in finance at D.E. Shaw & Co. in New York. Shaun holds BA and BS degrees from Columbia University with concentrations in English Literature, Mathematics, and a major in Engineering Mechanics. He also has an MBA from NYU Stern.
