Fahad Asam is an Operations Associate at One River Asset Management. He is responsible for cash and collateral management, exotic instrument pricing, and other trade lifecycle operations. He is also involved in the onboarding processes, which includes managing counterparty relationships and new fund launches. Prior to One River, Fahad was an associate at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund. At Bridgewater, Fahad covered areas including oversight of trading execution, risk monitoring for algorithmic trading, due diligence and implementation of new products and markets, as well as advising senior leadership on the changing risk landscape for trading and compliance. Prior to Bridgewater, Fahad was an analyst at Barclays Capital. At Barclays, Fahad was responsible for calculating Market and Credit Risk Capital, and advising the front office business lines on capital and liquidity impacts. Fahad holds a B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Finance and Economics. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Anderson School of Management, UCLA. He is also a CFA Level 2 Candidate.
