Nathan Faber is a Quantitative Researcher at One River Asset Management. Nathan analyzes, researches, and develops quantitative strategies, focusing on systematic and volatility-based investment processes. Prior to joining One River in 2021, Nathan was a Portfolio Manager at Newfound Research, where he was responsible for the ongoing research and development of new investment models and customized solutions for clients. Nathan began his career as a Chemical Engineer at URS where he focused on internal software creation, process simulations, and economic modeling. Nathan received a Master’s degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. His research has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and Institutional Investor magazine, and his academic papers have been published in the Journal of Index Investing and Epsilon Theory.
